A*Forge builds and runs software for the physical world. Sensors, marine weather data, boat monitoring, and the platforms and infrastructure underneath them.

Most of the work starts with something out in the weather: a sensor on a pier, a boat at a mooring, a station that has to keep reporting whether or not anyone is watching. Getting the reading is the easy part. Keeping it accurate, available and useful for years afterwards is the job.
